Research

I belong to the DARTS lab research group. My current research interest is routing in ad-hoc networks. I have also done research in multi-homed mobile ad hoc networks. I worked on experiments to determine optimal routes for packets sent from devices with multiple network interfaces such as 802.11 and Bluetooth. My most recent paper submission was on Configurable Mesh Routing (CMR) – a toolkit that allows a user to specify QoS metrics for route selection using a special rule language.

Past Experience

I was a university instructor for 4 years at Andrews University in Berrien Springs MI.  I taught programming language courses such as C, C++ and Java programming. I also taught a course in Internet Technologies.

Personal

I am from the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. I went to college in Trinidad and Tobago, another great island. My husband, Henok and I have a beautiful little girl called Hailey. My husband is a Software Engineer. Hailey is an active little girl who loves to sing. I enjoy reading John Grisham novels (he really needs to publish a new one soon), watching Law and Order, Grey’s Anatomy and The Office episodes and cooking (although I don't have much time now).
