The Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) in Experimental Research on
Wireless Networking is a research program funded by the National Science
Foundation (NSF). It is hosted by the Computer Science and Engineering
Department of the University of Notre Dame and offers ten positions for
the 10-week program. Students will work closely with researchers in the
area of wireless networking and mobile computing. Major objectives of the
program are to promote interest in experimental research on wireless networks
and to develop the research skills of the students. Women, minorities,
and students from institutions with no or limited research programs are
especially encouraged to apply.
The Summer 2009 program was concluded on July 31st 2009 with a
poster session in the College of Engineering at Notre Dame. Information
about the 2008 and 2009 programs and the poster sessions (including pictures) can
be found on these websites, particularly on our wiki (see link above).
At this point we invite applications for our Summer 2010 program (see link to application form on the right)!
