Assignment 1

In this assignment, you will attempt the 2003 First LEGO League robot challenge robot game. The description of the game can be found here.

Details

Your submissions should include:
- a description of the robot your team built - the physical construction and the strategy adopted for each task of the challenge
- a description of what each member of was responsible for
- a description of the behavior of the robot for each task
- the code

Please turn in your code in your group dropbox (/usr/local/courses/cse/cse498f.01/dropbox/) before 3:00pm on February 2nd 2004.

General notes on the assignment

Please have your groups formed no later than the end of class, Monday January 19th 2004.
The testing fields will be set up in the learning center. In order to ensure that computers will be available for use, please let me know as soon as possible what times are best for you to work on your project. This will allow us to reserve some of the computers in the learning center. Note that Tuesdays and Thursdays during the day, the learning center is occupied.
