definitive and may be changed. Once a due date is established,
the problem
list will not change.

xdpyinfo for resolution), 2-4, 2-5, 2-6, 2-7, 2-20+2-21 (code it up!)
- HW Chapter 3: due 9/22: 3-2 (code it up; test on 100 random
lines), 3-3 (code it up); 3-15 (write it up and code it up; so the
cosine function also), 3-24, 3-27 (code, test), 3-28, 3-37 (code, test
it on the letters N and D).
- HW Chapter 4: due 9/29: 4-2+4-3 (do your name), 4-25 (use the

1], clip rectangle [-0.5 0.5] x [-0.5 0.5], 100 line segments with
random endpoints in the viewport, draw surviving portions in green and
clipped portions in red )
- HW Chapter 7: due 11/19: 7-1 (text I/O sufficient), 7-8
(visualize using 100 random line segments)
- HW Chapter 8: due 12/3: 8-2 (display), 8-3 (include end caps,
