CSE 210 -- Discrete Mathematics -- Fall 2004


Catalog Description: Introduction to mathematical techniques fundamental to Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Topics: mathematical logic, induction, set theory, relations, functions, recursion, recurrence relations, introduction to asymptotic analysis, algebraic structures, graphs, machine computation.

Late Policy:

Homework is due at the beginning of class on the date assigned. Homework turned in by the beginning of the first class period after the due date will be accepted with a 20% penalty. After that, late homework will not be accepted.

Exams:

Midterm 1: Wednesday, September 22, in class - BE THERE on time!

Midterm 2: Wednesday, November 3, in class

Final: Thursday, December 16, 8:00AM-10:00AM
