BTAS 08 Paper Submission Requirements - (Decisions have been sent to authors)

Submissions to BTAS 08 may not have been published or pending publication elsewhere, and may not be submitted elsewhere during the BTAS 08 review period.

BTAS 08 will be using the IEEE PDF eXpress™ for enforcing the requirements for papers to appear in IEEE Xplore®. The final versions of all papers accepted for publication must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specifications. More information on IEEE PDF eXpress will soon be available here.

Steps for submission:

1. Prepare your manuscripts as per the IEEE SMC specification. The word template can be downloaded from here and the latex package can be downloaded from here.
2. Carefully proof-read your submission.
3. Submissions may be up to eight pages in conference paper format. Papers longer than six pages will be subject to a page fee for the extra pages (two max).
4. Register at the Conference Management System website. Upload the abstract and pdf of the paper by May 31, 2008. The pdf file size should not exceed 5 MB.

The copyright form is available here. Authors of accepted papers should read and sign the form, and fax a copy to the attention of Professor Patrick Flynn at 574-631-9260. Any copyright form not received by the paper due date of August 15 will trigger an emailed reminder. Any copyright form not received by September 1 will cause the paper to be omitted from the proceedings CD.

Submissions will be handled using the Conference Management Toolkit provided by Microsoft. If you do not already have an account on the CMT system, you will need to create one. Click here to access the CMT for sumbissions to BTAS.
