-
Trango Hyper Harpoon crampons for technical ice climbing
-
Black Diamond Sabertooth crampons for alpine and less technical climbing
-
La Sportiva Nepal Extreme boots (leather). These are my primary boots...they are warm, comfortable and excellent for ice climbing and just all around awesome mountaineering boots (at least in the lower 48).
-
Koflach Degre boots (plastic). I have relegated these to secondary status since most of my climbing does is more suited to the dexterity provided by leather boots.
-
Petzl Ecrin Roc helmet
-
Petzl Calidiris harness. Super comfortable (even when worn over many layers), and easy to adjust. Beefy gear loops and it just looks so damn cool.
-
Trango B-52 belay device. Basically works just like a standard belay tube, but can also be configured as an auto-blocking belay device when belaying a the leader is belaying the second climber
